MHMD is a clinically integrated physician organization comprised of more than 3,500 doctors across southeast Texas. Founded in 1982, MHMD is the largest independent physician organization of its kind in Texas. Our physicians are experienced and board-certified with offices conveniently located throughout southeast Texas. We have access to the largest network of clinically integrated physicians in the region. Our physician members are expected to practice evidence-based medicine consistent with current scientific evidence and best practices. Our members report quality performance and participate in performance feedback designed to advance the practice of medicine.
We collaborate with Memorial Hermann, the largest healthcare system in the region, to provide a continuum of care for our patients. We can provide unique access to the expertise of hundreds of sub-specialties and clinical research trials through Memorial Hermann’s affiliation with The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. We are jointly committed to a growing, maturing and mutually beneficial partnership that will enhance the stature of both organizations.
